Artists' portrait... Zoom on Hassan Hajjaj

Let's go to Morocco discovering Hassan Hajjaj's artworks.

Zoom on... Hassan Hajjaj

I discovered very recently the work of the artist Kassan Hajjaj. Photographer, designer and producer from Morocco, he was born in Larache and lived most of his life in the United Kingdom. Hassan Hajjaj immerses himself in his two identities to shape his art. For him, artistic creation is a way to embrace his dual culture, to adapt and "to become a new person”.

His works are the fruit of a meeting between London street art, Moroccan culture and pop art inspired by globalization.

Hassan Hajjaj is very proud to be able to present his works both as works from the Arab culture but also from other cultures in Africa. Indeed, he expresses his wish to see a united Africa where there would be no rejection between the Maghreb countries and those of Sub-Saharan Africa.

According to him, they all belong to the same continent which, as artists of all stripes, they do not hesitate to celebrate.

I really loved his quirky and colorful universe full of pep's!

Artistically yours,

Daffa
